Cardiac testing is essential for detecting cardiac and vascular problems before life-threatening events occur. The highly trained staff of the Lima Memorial Cardiac Treatment Center (CTC) include physicians, cardiac nurses, sonographers, technicians, and therapists. The Cardiac Treatment Center uses a variety of test equipment and diagnostic procedures. Key tests include treadmill exercise stress tests using state-of-the-art SPECT imaging to assess cardiac-related symptoms, nuclear stress tests to detect inadequate blood supply, and specialized imaging technology to see and assess the condition of the heart muscle.
