At Lima Memorial, we know being sick or getting hurt doesn’t always fit into a convenient schedule. With an average ER wait time of less than 30 minutes, you can see a doctor quickly.
From small cuts to major accidents to acute illnesses, Lima Memorial Emergency Center is ready for you 24-hours-a-day to deliver quality health care. We have board-certified emergency physicians on staff around the clock, seven days a week, and one of the only certified traumatologists in the area. Plus, you get care from the most experienced registered ER nurses in the region, with specialized certifications in trauma, pediatrics and heart care.
Open 3 to 11 p.m., our Fast Track care has it’s own dedicated team to take care of non-emergency issues. It is located inside the Emergency Center, and in most cases, we can have you in-and-out in 90 minutes or less.
For the most acute emergencies, we turn to our Level II trauma center, where our Emergency Center physicians have 24-hour-a-day access to specialists on-call throughout the hospital.
If you are experiencing chest pain or suspect a heart attack, time is critical. The Lima Memorial Emergency Center staff stabilizes heart attack patients and gets them into our cardiac catheterization unit fast. The Emergency Center is the access point to Lima Memorial’s Chest Pain Center, where patients suffering chest pain receive specialized care quick.
Lima Memorial is among the elite hospitals in the nation to earn Cycle IV accreditation by the Society of Chest Pain Centers – the highest accreditation possible.
