Lima Memorial to Honor EMS Community

On Sunday, May 19, 2019, Lima Memorial Health System will be honoring its Emergency Medical Service (EMS) community at the 24th Annual Lima Memorial EMS Banquet. This event will take place at 6 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Civic & Convention Center in Lima.
This year’s theme is “EMS Strong: Beyond the Call.” The title rings true as EMS personnel go above and beyond each and every day to aid those in need. The EMS community and their families sacrifice greatly to provide our area with exceptional medical attention and pre-hospital care.
A number of awards will be given throughout the night to honor EMS members who have provided exemplary service in the greater Lima region. These awards are as follows:
- LMHS Lifetime Achievement Awards
- LMHS Educator of the Year
- Cardiac Run of the Year
- Medical Run of the Year
- Stroke Alert Award
- Trauma Run of the Year
- Departments of the Year
The event’s keynote speaker will be Eric Bauer, an author as well as the Founder and Chief Operating Officer of FlightBridgeED, LLC. He will be giving a speech titled, “Define Your Brand - Own it, Define it, Live it!” Bauer has spoken on many critical care topics and has authored and published more than 155 podcasts.
