Lima Memorial Hosts Ovation Recognizing Mike Swick and Local Philanthropic Leaders

The Lima Memorial Foundation’s 2026 Ovation event brought together community leaders, generous supporters and friends of Lima Memorial to honor a legacy of leadership, service and philanthropy. Held at Lima Memorial’s Welcome Center, the event highlighted individuals and businesses whose generous philanthropic gifts continue to advance the health and well-being of the community, recognizing the powerful impact of giving and service. 

The following awards were presented during the evening:

Alice Henderson Award – Cumulative gifts of $25,000 or more

The Foundation’s Infinity Award, dedicated to individuals or businesses who have displayed a boundless commitment to Lima Memorial, honored longtime Lima Memorial supporter and community advocate Chad Hughes. 

Finally, the Lima Memorial Foundation’s Ambassador of the Year Award, honoring individuals who exemplify volunteerism by selflessly and enthusiastically devoting his or her time, energy and resources to further the mission of the Lima Memorial Foundation was presented to Ann Welly, President of All Service Glass and Lima Memorial Foundation Emerging Philanthropist Chair 

The Foundation also recognized Lima Memorial associates who made the SPIRIT or Leadership pledge for the Lima Memorial Foundation’s Living the Spirit campaign. This associate-driven giving campaign supports both community health initiatives and fellow associates through the Associate Relief Fund.

The evening’s highlight was a tribute to the legacy of Mike Swick, CEO of Lima Memorial Health System. Guests enjoyed a menu inspired by Mike and his family and witnessed the special unveiling of the Swick Family Welcome Center, a lasting tribute to Mike’s 25 years of leadership, vision and unwavering dedication to the community. 

The Lima Memorial Foundation has a distinguished history of bringing healthcare advancements to the region. In recent years, with the support of the community, the Foundation contributed the funds needed for advanced open-MRI technology, next-generation diagnostic sleep technology, integrated cardiac stress testing equipment and much more.
