A number of awards will be given throughout the night to honor EMS members who have provided exemplary service in the greater Lima region. These awards are as follows:

  • LMHS Educator of the Year
  • Cardiac Run of the Year

  • The OB Stork Award
  • Stroke Alert Awards
  • Trauma Run of the Year

The event’s keynote speaker will be Robert Wagoner, Executive Director of the Ohio Division of EMS and Chief Executive Officer of the State Board of Emergency Medical, Fire and Transportation Services, with more than 40 years of experience in emergency medical services. Wagoner is widely respected for his leadership and contributions to advancing EMS at both the state and national levels.

In addition to the banquet, Lima Memorial will recognize local first responders by turning its building lights red, white and blue for EMS Week, May 17 – 23.
