Lima Memorial Health System will officially sign high school senior, Kylie Mehaffey, to the Lima Memorial team on Wednesday, May 10, at Wapakoneta High School. Kylie began as a high school intern in the Lima Memorial Health System Emergency Center through Wapakoneta High School’s Wapakoneta Internship/Networking Program (WIN) and will officially accept a full-time position at the signing.

“I love it; it’s like a big family,” says Kylie about joining the Lima Memorial Health System team. “It makes me feel accomplished and, most importantly, that I am helping others.”

Kylie will be signing on to the Lima Memorial Health System team as a Unit Secretary / Patient Care Tech in the Lima Memorial Health System Emergency Center.

“We are excited to welcome Kylie to the LMHS Family,” expresses Brenda Kidd, Lima Memorial HR Business Partner. “It is truly a great feeling when we can guide our local youth and continue to encourage their professional growth in the healthcare field.”

The WIN Program at Wapakoneta High School is a career exploration program that allows students to work with a variety of professionals in their community and work towards opportunities to gain scholarships, job offers and valuable professional experience.
