Lima Memorial Health System nurses voted to ratify a three-year contract between Lima Memorial Health System and the Lima Memorial Professional Nurses Association (LMPNA). The contract becomes effective November 1, 2026, through October 31, 2029.
“We are pleased our nurses voted in favor of ratifying the agreement,” said Lynn Carpenter, President & CEO of Lima Memorial Health System. “This agreement reflects the collaboration and commitment of both negotiating teams to reach a positive outcome for our nurses and our health system. We are grateful for the exceptional care our nurses provide each day and their dedication to our patients, their families and the communities we serve.”
The ratified contract achieves the parties’ common goals of maintaining competitive wages and benefits and improving quality of life to retain and recruit top-talented nurses.
“This was a challenging round of negotiations, and our bargaining team worked hard to address the issues nurses said mattered most—including competitive wages, recognition for experience and longevity and protection of health insurance benefits,” stated Jill Burd, RN, President of the Lima Memorial Professional Nurses Association. “While no agreement includes everything either side seeks, this contract represents meaningful progress and recognizes the value our nurses bring to Lima Memorial and the patients we serve.”
Stacy Graymire, Vice President & Chief Nursing Officer at Lima Memorial, stated, “Our nurses bring extraordinary skill, compassion and commitment to every patient and family they serve. This agreement reflects our shared responsibility to support them, strengthen our nursing workforce and sustain the exceptional care our community relies on.”
