Lima Memorial Health System Hosts Healthcare Career Exploring™ Day

As part of its ongoing Exploring™ Program, Lima Memorial will be hosting a Healthcare Career Exploration Day on Friday, November 22. Exploring™ exists to teach important life and career skills to young people from all backgrounds in grades 9-12. This program is based on a unique and dynamic relationship between the students and Lima Memorial Health System. The result is a program of interactive activities that helps youth pursue their special interests, grow and develop. Friday’s program will feature Obstetrics, Emergency Medicine, Trauma Lab and Airway Lab.
The Exploring™ Program is designed to provide meaningful real-world career experiences and leadership development opportunities for students in their chosen field(s) of interest. Participants will gain knowledge to make informed decisions about future careers and determine if a particular healthcare career is right for them.
