Lima Memorial Foundation Recognizes Local Philanthropy

On Thursday, April 27, the Lima Memorial Foundation will host Ovation at 19 Hawthorne Wedding & Event Venue. This special event honors individuals and businesses who believe in and are committed to advancing the health of our community through philanthropic gifts to the Foundation.

“I am deeply humbled by our community’s steadfast support and continue to be inspired by our joint efforts to provide Great Care locally,” expresses Steve Romey, Chairman of the Lima Memorial Foundation Board of Trustees.

Cumulative levels of giving ranging from $25,000 to $500,000 will be recognized at the event. In addition to these very distinguished awards, the Foundation will present the Ambassador of the Year Award to an individual who exemplified selfless and enthusiastic volunteerism in support of the Lima Memorial Foundation in 2022. Additionally, the Infinity Award will be presented to a local business for displaying a boundless commitment to Lima Memorial.

27 individuals and businesses will be recognized with the Henderson Award for their contributions to the Lima Memorial Foundation, cumulatively reaching $25,000. Additionally, eight individuals and businesses will receive the distinguished Chairman Award for their lifetime contribution to the Foundation exceeding $100,000. Dr. Praveen Malhotra & Varsha Malhotra, the Lima Memorial Medical Staff and Mike & Danette Swick will receive the Cora Davies Award for their outstanding philanthropic commitment to Lima Memorial with cumulative contributions reaching the impressive $250,000 level. Neil and Elizabeth Winget will receive the S.B. Hiner Award, a recognition for their contributions of more than $500,000.
