Lima Memorial Displays Allen County Veterans Memorial Foundation Tribute

In recognition of our veterans who have made great sacrifices for our country and communities across the nation, Lima Memorial Health System will host a tribute display from the Allen County Veterans Memorial Foundation in its new Welcome Center. The display will feature flag tributes to all branches of the United States military, as well as information on the Allen County Veterans Memorial Foundation’s plans to create a unique memorial in the community dedicated to the remembrance of veterans from Allen County.
Lima Memorial Health System recognizes veteran patients year round with a Certificate of Appreciation embossed with their branch of service and U.S. flag lapel pin. These special items are given to patients in an official presentation when possible and with their family present.
The Veterans Day display will be available for viewing in the Lima Memorial Welcome Center throughout the day on Friday, November 11. In addition to the display, Lima Memorial will also be turning its building lights red, white and blue November 10 - 12 in honor of our nation’s veterans.
