On Thursday, March 31, Chad Martin, Director of Facilities Management at Lima Memorial Health System, will be presented with the 2021 Eagle Award from the Ohio Society of Health Care Facilities Management (OSHFM). The award recognizes a facility manager or staff member who has demonstrated outstanding performance, leadership, unique service or significant contributions in energy efficiency, healthcare facilities management, plant engineering, design / construction, security, safety, clinical engineering or telecommunications.

“Chad’s nominations acknowledge he has demonstrated nothing less than excellence in leadership and teamwork,” says Mike Angeline, previous President of OSHFM and Regional Director of Safety, Environmental Health and Emergency Preparedness at Mount Carmel Health System. “We are more than happy to recognize such a dedicated individual and the many significant contributions he has made to his community.”

To receive the Eagle Award, Chad was nominated by a group of his peers who recognized his continuous dedication to Lima Memorial Health System for more than 15 years.

“There is no way I could have achieved this without support from our facilities and administrative teams,” says Chad. “Every department works so well with our facilities team, and I look forward to many more years of working with them to continue bringing exceptional safety, reliability and service to Lima Memorial Health System.”

Chad has recently received his Healthcare Facility Management certification and continues to lead numerous projects that will have a tremendous impact on the health of our community. These projects include the current building of the Lima Memorial Welcome Center and Lima Memorial’s new Inpatient Renal Dialysis Treatment Center. Chad also lead the building of the Lima Memorial Medical Center | Wapakoneta.
