Radiation Oncology
Cancer Treatment Method
We understand every cancer journey is deeply personal; this is why we offer a range of advanced treatment options tailored to your needs. Radiation is one method available to treat various types of cancers with precision and care. Our radiation oncologists treat cancer with radioactive rays, using techniques such as X-rays or carefully placed radioactive materials to destroy cancer cells while protecting healthy tissue. With access to some of the most advanced radiation technology available today, our experienced team is here to provide expert care with compassion, every step of the way.
Precise Cancer Treatment. Just for You.
Each radiation treatment plan is created specifically for your type and stage of cancer. Today, new diagnostic and treatment technology allows us to diagnose and treat cancer with unprecedented precision. These treatments may include the use of advanced technology including:
- IMRT, IGRT, SBRT and 3D conformal radiation therapy of the brain, head and neck, lungs, GU, GI and skin
- SBRT for solitary pulmonary nodules
- External beam radiation therapy for skin cancer and keloids
- Radiation therapy for hip arthroplasty
- I-131 for thyroid cancer
The goal of radiation treatment is to treat cancer as aggressively as possible − while keeping you as comfortable as possible.
