What will hospital operations look like on April 8 (the day of the solar eclipse)?
All hospital services and patients will be scheduled as normal for procedures, surgeries, appointments, etc.
Will there be extended hours for LMP offices?
LMP has extended hours of operation at several locations throughout the region and will be providing walk-in
care for these patients. The locations and extended hours included:
• LMHS Wapakoneta Medical Center | Saturday and Sunday, 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.
• LMHS Family Care | Saturday and Sunday, 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.
• LMHS Kenton Medical Center | Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
• LMHS Ada Medical Center | Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
• LMHS Indian Lake Medical Center | Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
How is the hospital preparing for a surge in patients?
A surge plan has been developed for this event, and the hospital is prepared to care for an influx of patients if needed.
