General cardiology, congestive heart failure

Practicing medicine in Lima is a privilege and a blessing. I've been able to develop relationships with patients and their families. I believe each person could be my own family member and should be treated as such. Over the last 15 years, I've been fortunate to be able to see cardiac patients in several locations in Van Wert, Lima and Sidney. One of my greatest professional joys is enabling heart failure patients to improve their heart function from completely debilitating to normal. The heart failure program and clinic allow me to educate, treat and restore health and function to those with severely weakened hearts. Additionally, a new extension of the heart failure arena is cardio-oncology. This allows for close observation to prevent long-term cardiovascular side effects of chemotherapy and radiation, as well as the management and reversal of these effects.
