Lima Memorial Health System is proud to partner with the Lima Police Department and other community partners to host this year’s National Night Out. The event will bring neighbors together for an evening focused on building relationships and strengthening the well-being of our community. The event will take place on Tuesday, August 5, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Lincoln Park, and is free and open to the public.
National Night Out is an annual campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. It provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
“National Night Out helps strengthen the relationships between community members and those committed to their health and safety,” said Rick Sanchez, Manager of Safety & Security at Lima Memorial Health System. “This event allows us as a health system to provide direct, approachable access to health information and services, engage families and reinforce Lima Memorial as a trusted health partner.”
The event will feature a wide array of activities including inflatables, games, giveaways and free food. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet representatives from several Lima Memorial service lines, including Primary Care, Pediatrics, Radiology, Laboratory, Women’s Health, Food & Nutrition and the LMHS Police as well as connect with first responders, city officials and other organizations working to make a positive difference in Lima.
