On Tuesday, August 26, the Lima Memorial Auxiliary Volunteers will deliver boxes packed with essential school supplies to the Children’s Developmental Center (CDC). These generous contributions are the result of this year’s annual supply drive, spearheaded by the Lima Memorial Auxiliary.
This yearly initiative allows Lima Memorial associates and volunteers to provide crucial classroom supplies that play a vital role in the development of children who need them the most. The Lima Memorial Family is eager to support the local CDC by ensuring cleaning supplies, snacks and educational materials are donated.
Located within Lima Memorial Health System, the Children’s Developmental Center of Lima serves children aged 18 months to five years with developmental disabilities. This school-based program takes a holistic approach to care, offering developmental classes alongside physical, occupational and speech therapies to support children as they grow.
The Children’s Developmental Center of Lima is always open to donations to help support the school year. Individuals interested in contributing items are encouraged to call 419-226-5046 to coordinate arrangements before dropping off donations.
