Lima Memorial Foundation Emerging Philanthropists Host Cardiology INSIGHT

The Lima Memorial Foundation Emerging Philanthropists will host a special INSIGHT event on Wednesday, February 18, offering guests an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look inside Lima Memorial’s Heart & Vascular Institute from 3 - 5 p.m.

This immersive experience will give attendees the opportunity to tour key areas within the Heart & Vascular Institute, meet the physicians and care teams who provide advanced cardiac care close to home and hear directly from a patient whose life has been impacted by the care received at Lima Memorial.

“This tour is designed to give a meaningful look behind the scenes of cardiac care at Lima Memorial,” shared Brian Scheid, Emerging Philanthropist and Director of Lima Memorial Cardiopulmonary Services. “When guests walk through the Heart & Vascular Institute with us, they will see the areas directly impacted by the support of the Lima Memorial Foundation, from advanced cardiac technology and programs to the teams who utilize it to save lives every day. Sharing that story helps build understanding, connection and trust in the care we provide close to home.”

Attendees will have the opportunity to view various areas and technology of the Heart & Vascular Institute, including Lima Memorial’s cardiac rehabilitation gym and advanced echocardiography machines. Guests will also step inside Lima Memorial’s cath lab, where the care team evaluates heart blockages and helps patients receive the fast, lifesaving care they need.

The Lima Memorial Foundation’s INSIGHT events provide donors, community leaders and supporters with a meaningful way to see how their generosity helps advance patient care, technology and healing across the region.
