Lima Memorial Health System is proud to offer Heartflow® FFRCT Analysis, an advanced, non-invasive tool that helps providers evaluate suspected coronary artery disease (CAD) with greater clarity. Using images captured through a coronary CT angiogram, this technology applies sophisticated AI to create a personalized, color-coded 3D model of the heart that shows how plaque buildup may be affecting blood flow. This deeper insight allows physicians to more accurately assess disease severity and suggest a care plan right for patients. 

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, CAD is estimated to be responsible for one heart attack every 40 seconds and one out of every five deaths; additionally, CAD is known to have no obvious symptoms until a heart attack occurs. This condition develops when plaque builds up in the arteries, narrowing or blocking vessels and restricting blood flow to the heart, which can lead to chest pain, heart attacks and death.
