Lima Memorial Health System to Host Fall EMS Symposium

Lima Memorial Health System will host its annual Fall Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Symposium on Saturday, October 20 beginning at 8:30 a.m. in the Auxiliary Conference Center for all local emergency medical service providers.
Lima Memorial provides medical direction to 27 of the region's EMS departments and strives to equip EMS professionals with ongoing education to enhance their knowledge and training. This free continuing education event will cover a variety of vital EMS topics.
Symposium speakers and topics will include:
Dr. Philip Gafford, General Surgeon – Traumatic Injuries & Treatments
Brian Berheide, Lima Fire Department, EMT-P, Firefighter – A Cardiac Event – A Real-Life Story
Brent Parquette, NRP, Lucas County EMS – EKG Interpretation and Injury Patterns
