Lima Memorial Health System nurses voted to ratify a three-year contract between Lima Memorial Health System and the Lima Memorial Professional Nurses Association (LMPNA). The contract becomes effective November 1, 2020 through October 31, 2023.

“We are pleased our nurses have voted in favor of ratification,” said Mike Swick, President and CEO of Lima Memorial Health System. “The negotiating teams demonstrated strong collaboration to reach an agreement that benefited our nurses and health system as a whole. We applaud our nurses for their outstanding quality patient care and steadfast commitment to our patients and their families.”

The ratified contract achieves the parties’ common goals of maintaining market competitive wages and benefits and improving quality of life to retain and recruit top-talented nurses. "Ratification of the contract is an acknowledgement of our nursing team's support of Lima Memorial, its values and our desire to make it a great place to work,” stated Jill Burd, RN, President of the Lima Memorial Professional Nurses Association. “I’m blessed to work for an organization that values its team members and our unwavering commitment and dedication to caring for our LMH family and community, especially in these unprecedented times."

“You won’t find more skilled and compassionate nurses anywhere than those at Lima Memorial Health System,” said Ann Pohl, RN, Vice President & Chief Nursing Officer at Lima Memorial Health System. “We are very grateful we could work as one team to achieve this agreement which focuses our efforts on the delivery of excellence in patient care while retaining and recruiting the very best nursing professionals in the region.”
