More than 230 golfers teed off at our 2018 Lima Memorial Foundation Golf Classic. Presenting Sponsors Tuttle Construction & Touchstone CPM and ProMedica supported the event, along with more than 85 community members and business partners. More than $100,000 was raised, with event proceeds benefitting the transformation of Lima Memorial’s Inpatient Rehabilitation Center. The Foundation has committed to raising $1 million to support this project that will ultimately benefit those affected by a debilitating illness or injury, restoring their lives and building confidence.
Through community support to the Foundation, Lima Memorial has been able to establish its now world-renowned surgical robotics program and introduce many advancements, including innovative lung cancer diagnostic technology, sophisticated infection control equipment and a state-of-the-art simulation and education laboratory. Additionally, an electrophysiology program is on the horizon and will bring intricate heart rhythm management procedures to our community, in collaboration with experts from The Ohio State Heart and Vascular Center.
