Visiting Policy Because we know the support of your loved ones is very important to your recovery, visitation hours are:
- General/Pediatrics: 7 a.m. - 9 p.m.
- Critical Care: 10 minutes per hour with a limit of two visitors
Visitors may be restricted based on your health care needs.
To help ensure minimal disruptions to your care, we prefer that you limit your number of visitors to two at a time. Critical care waiting rooms can only accommodate two visitors per patient, and we ask that other family members and friends wait in the Hospital's main lobby.
A responsible adult must attend visiting children under age 12 at all times. The charge nurse based on appropriateness will screen after-hour visitors, other than those for critical patients. The charge nurse will have the authority to make all decisions on visiting privileges.
Valet Parking Lima Memorial Health System is happy to offer valet parking as a free service to visitors and patients. Simply pull to the main entrance or our Patient Services Building/Outpatient entrance and your car will be parked for you.

Call Ahead Service: To have a patient's car ready for pick up during operating hours, call 419-998-4621 and tell the attendant the ticket number.
After Hours Pickup: Cars not picked up by 9 p.m. will be moved to directly in front of the Emergency Center entrance where Security will retain the keys. The Security Office is located inside the main Emergency Center entrance.
Customers can either call ext. 4539 from a hospital courtesy phone, located in the main lobby, or 419-998-4539 to notify Security they will be picking up their car.
Patients requiring outpatient services are still being encouraged to park directly in front of the Patient Services Building for closer access to their vehicle.
Gift Shop The Lima Memorial Hospital Gift shop is located on the first floor near the main entrance. Operated by the Hospital Auxiliary, and staffed by Volunteers, the Gift Shop is stocked with a variety of gift items, jewelry, candy and cards. The Auxiliary donates proceeds from Gift Shop sales back to Lima Memorial Hospital.
Hours: Monday - Friday: 9 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Saturday: 12:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Sunday: 1 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Gifts for Patients
Visitors should check with the nurse before bringing gifts, food or beverages to patients. Certain gifts, including food, fresh flowers and live plants, are not allowed in the critical care units. Please check with the nurse to make sure your gift is appropriate.
