Rehabilitation Services at Lima Memorial Health System provides patients with quality care for a variety of needs. We offer trained professionals specializing in each of the four service areas including licensed physical therapists, licensed speech therapists and a variety of other qualified staff members.
Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy
The Physical Therapy Department works to improve range of motion and physical abilities for patients. This includes the availability of equine therapy at the Fasset Farm.
Occupational Therapy also works to regain skills with programs designed to help patients re-learn the functions needed for daily life.
Speech and Audiology
The Speech and Audiology Department at LMHS consists of programs designed to improve the speech and hearing abilities of patients of all ages. This area offers testing, evaluation and therapy.
The Wellness Center
The Wellness Center combines the expertise of physical therapists, occupational therapists and athletic trainers to provide services at the Lima YMCA. This program offers a session for everyone, with opportunities ranging from the "Moms on the Move" prenatal exercise clinic to the "One Step Ahead" Performance Enhancement Program for high school athletes.
