In November 2009, the Foundation held a recognition dinner at the Shawnee Country Club to express its appreciation for the generosity of individuals and organizations who gave $1,000 or more to the Foundation during 2008 and 2009. Harry and Myrna Shutt were recipients of the Chairman's Award for outstanding philanthropy.
Honored contributors who were recognized at the Visionary Level for their generosity included: the late Oren J. Dickason; Bonnie Duff and The Duff Family Foundation, Heart Institute of Northwest Ohio, Estate of Roger Hughes, Lakeview Farms, Lima Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, Estate of Helen McDonald, Barbara Perry, Smith-Boughan Mechanical Services, Mike and Danette Swick, Kay Timmermeister, and Tuttle Construction.
The individuals and organizations who have giving continuously for 15 years or more, are in the Founders Perfect Giving Society. Contributors recognized for their generosity included: Chase Bank, E.S.
