The Wellness Center utilizes physical therapists, occupational
therapists and athletic trainers along with an industrial medicine
program to deliver professional evaluation, treatment and
rehabilitation.
Licensed physical therapists work with licensed physical therapy
assistants and certified athletic trainers to provide custom
programs under the direction of a physician. Our athletic trainers
offer event coverage to area high schools and various community
events.
In addition, Outpatient Pain Management Treatment provides
specific therapy using state-of-the-art machines, pool therapy,
exercises and application of modalities to decrease pain associated
with injury or dysfunction.

Parkinson 's Disease Program
- Description: Exercise Prescription to assist in delaying the
effects of Parkinson's Disease
- Provided by LMHS Physical Therapy Staff
- MD referral required
Pelvic Pain and/or Incontinence Treatment
- Description: Utilization of manual techniques for the treatment
of pelvic pain and/or incontinence
- Provided by LMHS Physical Therapy Staff

"One Step Ahead" Performance Enhancement
Program
- Description: Individually designed program to improve high
school athletes' strength, speed, agility, flexibility and overall
performance in athletic competition
- Provided by Sports Medicine Staff by appointment

Osteoporosis Self Management Course
- Description: Exercise Prescription to assist in delaying the
effects of osteoporosis
- Tuesdays and Thursdays by appointment
- MD referral required
Balance Training
- Description: Exercise Prescription to address neurological and
balance deficiencies to improve a patient's safety with walking and
functional mobility skills
- MD referral required
Work Reconditioning
- Description: Exercise Prescription to address the needs of an
injured worker to build their skills, strength, and stamina to
assist with returning to work
