Lima Memorial Health System offers genetic education to our
patients. Genetic education is guidance given by a healthcare
professional who is trained to help people understand the risk of
developing an inherited, or genetic, disease. If, after an initial
family history, a genetic disease appears to run in a family,
genetic testing is offered to the patient.
