MRI Technology

Lima Memorial's High-field Open Speed MRI system at the Medical Park, along with the Closed MRI at the hospital generate superior clinical images, allowing accurate diagnosis and appropriate and earlier intervention.  Ruptured discs, torn tendons, small fractures, stroke, and small tumors in the brain, optic nerve, liver or kidney are just a few examples of what can be detected.  Blood vessels can also be imaged by these advanced MRI systems without invasive procedures.

Diagnostic and Imaging at the Medical Park

Services performed include X-ray, CT, EKG, Open MRI and Ultrasound.  Our Diagnostics and Imaging Department participates jointly with the Department of Vascular Surgery in performing Aortic Stent graft procedures, a revolutionary minimally invasive way of treating abdominal aortic aneurysms.

The Diagnostics and Imaging Department requires a doctor's order for all procedures. To schedule a procedure please call (419)226-5030 and select Option two when the message prompts you.
