Lima Memorial's Family Birth Center is an extension of
Toledo Children's Hospital bringing the expertise of one of the
Midwest's top pediatric hospitals closer to home for families in
West Central Ohio.
The Level II Neonatal Nursery provides care for babies
born at 32 weeks gestation or greater and those who
need close watching or extra help after birth.
For babies that need the most critical level of care, our
partnership with Toledo Children's Hospital and their Level III
Neonatal Nursery ensures a seamless approach to giving your baby
the highest level of care possible.
The nursery staff caring for your baby includes
Neonatologist Dr. Judith Allen, pediatric hospitalists,
and registered nurses specially trained in advanced neonatal
care.
Our Level II staff works closely with families teaching them
about any special procedure or medication your baby may need at
home. We have developed a program called Here for Life From the
Beginning to provide extra care and support to all of our babies
and their families.
