Having a baby is a momentous occasion and we want you to be at
ease with your pregnancy and delivery. One look at our Family Birth

Lima Memorial's Family Birth Center is an extension of Toledo
Children's Hospital bringing the expertise of one of the Midwest's
top pediatric hospitals closer to home for families in West Central
Ohio. We embrace the concept of family-centered maternity care and
was the first facility in the area to provide "single-room
maternity care" in our birthing suites. Women experience labor,
deliver, recovery and postpartum in a single room.
For babies who need a higher level of care, our Level II Neonatal
Nursery provides care for babies born at 32 weeks gestation or
greater and those who need close watching or extra help after
birth.
If the most critical level of care, our partnership with Toledo
Children's Hospital and their Level III Neonatal Nursery ensures a
seamless approach to giving your baby the highest level of care
possible.
We want you to be as comfortable as possible. We know your comfort
begins with knowing what to expect. So, we offer a series of
comprehensive childbirth programs to meet the needs of expectant
parents throughout all stages of their pregnancy.
From initial education sessions to delivery and follow-up care,
the Family Birth Center provides all elements necessary for
bringing a baby into this world.
