Matt Tumbleson-Emergency Medical Services
Coordinator
Matt Tumbleson AASEMS, EMP-P, FFII graduated from Rhodes State in
2009. Matt has served in the field of Emergency Services for nearly
25 years, functioning at all levels of service from First Responder
to Critical Care Transport Paramedic. Matt also functions as a
Firefighter II, Hazardous Materials Technician and EMS
Educator. Matt also functions as Lima Memorial Health Systems
Pediatric Advanced Life Support Training Center Faculty and the
Hospital Emergency Response Team Coordinator. Matt is active in the
community with various groups and volunteer organizations.
Matt is currently working on his Bachelors' Degree in Health Care
and Emergency Management.

Dr. Todd Brookens - EMS Medical Director of
the Emergency Center
Dr. Brookens completed his medical
degree at The University of Health Sciences in Kansas City, MO,
Wis. He then completed an emergency medicine residency at
St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, OH. Dr. Brookens is
very active in Pre-Hospital care, as the EMS Medical Director for
all of Lima Memorial Health Systems EMS Units as well as the
Assistant Medical Director for Promedica Air and Mobile. Dr.
Brookens is also a Board Certified Emergency Medicine
Physician.
Kyle Erford - Administrative Director
Kyle Erford is a graduate of the Medical College of Ohio,
now known as the University of Toledo Medical Center. He has served
as a nursing officer in the 180th Fighter Wing of the
Air National Guard since 1995. Erford is NREMT-B trained. He has
been an employee of Lima Memorial Health System since 2003.
Melanie Short - Director of Emergency
Room
Melanie Short, RN, BSN, CEN, EMT-P, graduated from BGSU/UTMC in
1998. Melanie has worked in emergency services as an
Emergency Department RN, Critical Care transport nurse, Educator,
and a Paramedic.
Tonia Dunnigan - ER Clincial
Manager
Tonia M. Dunnigan RN, graduated with Associates from
Rhodes State College. Tonia has worked in emergency services as an
Emergency Department RN and Charge Nurse, Urgent Care Nursing
Supervisor, and a Critical Care Transport
Nurse.
Paula Kline - Trauma Program
Manager
Paula Kline RN, BSN graduated with Associates from Rhodes State
College, Bachelors from Wright State University. Paula has
worked in emergency services as an Emergency Department RN and
Charge Nurse, Nursing Supervisor, and House Supervisor.
