Emergency Medical Services
The outstanding emergency medical services (EMS) providers in our area are ready to provide urgent care on the way to the hospital, with medical guidance from one of our Lima Memorial Emergency Center physicians. As a verified Level II trauma center and accredited Chest Pain Center, our Emergency Center works closely with area EMS departments to be prepared for the most urgent situations. Lima Memorial Emergency Center Upcoming Program and Events
Lima Memorial Health System offers many free EMS events throughout the year including a Spring & Fall EMS Symposium. In addition to these classes, Lima Memorial hosts new provider, recertification in AHA BLS CPR, ACLS and PALS courses.

Medical Direction
Providing medical direction to twenty-six of the region's EMS & fire departments, the Lima Memorial Health System EMS Medical Director reviews charts, provides outreach and writes the Lima Memorial EMS protocols.
