Donor Recognition

Donor Recognition

The Lima Memorial Foundation is most grateful to our friends who so willingly invest in the health of our community through philanthropic gifts to the Foundation. It is our privilege to recognize those who so selflessly give to support Lima Memorial’s mission. Gifts are often designated to benefit a specific program, service or funding priority. Many times, donors choose to remember or honor an individual with a gift to the Foundation. A memorial or honorary gift is a wonderful way to remember someone or show appreciation for a family member, friend, colleague or special caregiver or commemorate a special occasion. Such a gift not only pays tribute to the honoree but also helps the Lima Memorial Foundation fulfill its ongoing efforts to support Lima Memorial Health System and advance the health of our community.

Each year, the Lima Memorial Foundation hosts Ovation to recognize individuals and businesses who so selflessly give to support Lima Memorial’s mission. Special recognition is given to those who have achieved cumulative milestone levels of giving to the Foundation. Additionally, the Infinity Award is given to honor an individual or business who has displayed a boundless commitment to Lima Memorial. The Ambassador of the Year Award recognizes an individual who exemplifies volunteerism by selflessly and enthusiastically devoting his or her time, energy and resources to further the mission of the Lima Memorial Foundation.

At this year’s Ovation, the Lima Memorial Foundation paid special tribute to the late Jeffrey A. Hawk for his remarkable generosity and genuine care for Lima Memorial and our community as a whole. Defined by four core pillars, Mr. Hawk dedicated his life to his faith, family, business and our community. He was a long-time chairman of American Trim and proudly served the family-owned business in a variety of roles over 34 years. A principled leader and mentor, Mr. Hawk always did the right thing, even when it was difficult or controversial. While he avoided the well-deserved spotlight, Mr. Hawk could be found working tirelessly behind the scenes for many organizations and causes to evoke positive change.

In addition, the following individuals and businesses received special recognition:
